Parking under the Street

From 10 am to 4 pm, it was Open House at the Residential Garage under the Donnersberger Street in Munich. Even though I am a biker, I am interested in new technologies for cars and so I had to get a closer look at this Multiparker 740. Very impressive indeed. A fully automated parking system. At street level, you see only old buildings.

Donnersberger Street

Under the street, one of the most modern technologies ever. Thanks to this incredible parking system, 284 cars could be removed from the street surface, then being replaced by trees, flower beds, plants and larger pavements for inhabitants of the area. No need to say that the residents are much happier since the huge improvement of their quality of life.
