Juste Pour Toi

March 23, 2009

by Henriette Mauvaise-Foi

Par ta douceur tu m’as séduite,
Ton corps entier j’habite.

Je me sens si libéré

A toi je me soumets.

Frissonnante, cet assaut je subis,
Ton coeur s’emballe, mon corps gémit.

Mon ventre explose,

Mimosa, a Flower

My favourite flower

In Germany, where I live, it is not easy to buy a bunch of the flowers I love most. They are quite expensive. They are not plenty. Either they are already sold out or they are no longer fresh. Acacia pycnantha (official name) is the emblem of Australia.

Spread of Malaria Feared as Drug Loses Potency

By THOMAS FULLER
Published: January 26, 2009

… what eludes the naked eye is a potentially graver problem, especially for the outside world. The parasite that causes the deadliest form of malaria is showing the first signs of resistance to the best new drug against it.

No perfume today, thank you !  Mosquito

I have already tasted the bitterness and danger of malaria. This terrible disease struck me many times in the past. The worst malaria experience I made : I was out of order three long weeks. Extremely weak. Shivering. Sweating. Clapping my teeth. Even doctors’ children can die from malaria. I was shocked as I heard the news many years back.

Eat Like a God, Pay as You Please

March 7, 2009

People with fine palate and a great sense of fairness, this post is for you !

Bistrot de Saint Paul

A major contribution from Lyon, one of the biggest cities in France. The owners of a bistro in Lyon are trying to fight the financial crisis and its gloomy unemployment rate in a very unusual way : They offer ‘Au Fil du Jour‘ : an appetizer, an entree and a dessert. The eater pays only what the ingested meal deserves to be paid. It’s all about self-evaluation… Beverage are not free of charge.
